The Clinic

The Clinic of the NYU Postdoctoral Program is the clinical facility of the Program. It has been providing adult therapeutic services to the community for over 40 years. It offers psychoanalysis to individuals unable to afford private fees. Clinic fees are arranged on a sliding scale according to the patient’s income. Candidates working with clinic patients are supervised by the faculty of the Program. Our candidates are postdoctoral mental health professionals. In addition, the Clinic provides consultative services to the community through its externship program with advanced clinical psychology doctoral students and a Psychotherapy Referral Service.
