Admission Requirements

1. Doctoral degree from a program in clinical psychology or a related area of study.
2. Two years of supervised individual adult psychotherapy experience.
3. Eligibility for state certification in a mental health discipline.

Applications

The NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science admission application process is conducted online. For instructions about how to get started with your online application to the Postdoctoral Program, please send an email to gsas.postdoc@nyu.edu. The office of the Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis is located at 240 Greene Street, third floor.

Applications to enter the program are accepted once a year, for the fall semester. They must be submitted by March 1.

Registration

Registration dates for the fall and spring semesters are provided by the Postdoctoral Program office. Registration for a course after its second meeting is not permitted.
